Piano Program Overview
A new way to experience Piano Lessons
JW Piano Lessons offer private lessons, performance classes, festival opportunities and a year-end recital. The performance opportunities are optional but are strongly encouraged to help students build performance confidence.
Building a Piano Community
Performance Classes
NFMC Music Festival
Year-End Recital
Rhythm
One of the first elements of music is rhythm. Students will learn to recognize note and rest values in addition to rhythmic patterns in music.
Pitch & Note recognition
Pitch is another essential element of music that we cover in our piano lessons. Students are taught the pitch correlations between keyboard positions, staff positions, and note names.
Piano Performance
Sharing music with others is a rewarding experience for our piano students. Performance classes, the NFMC Music Festival and the Year-End Recital give our students the opportunity to build their performance skills and share their love of piano music with others.
This is what parents have to say about our piano program.
